Olympus E-3; 0.9 beta firmware
preproduction sample test shot

Model: Sasia (I believe that's her name, but I forgot. :()

No manipulations, just cropped from Olympus' 4:3 format to Canon's 3:2, which I like better. Shot with a softbox wireless flash as a main lightsource (to the model's left) during sunset at the Bosporus.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the B/W was set on the camera, not in post-processing, and that I chose a red filter effect in the camera menu to darken the sky.

Check the EXIF data and note the shutter speed. No tripod was used, but the flash was set at 2nd curtain. Still, you have to give a bit of credit to the E-3 image stabilizer. :nod:

I'm not sure why I titled this Der Lachende Vagabund, but it reminded me of this old German song with the same title, and the lyrics:

"Denk' ich an Capri
dann denk' ich auch an Gina.
Sie liebte einen Lord.

Isprva mi se učinilo kao da je ovo u pozadini naljepljeno na neki zid. Kombinacija crvenog filtera i softboxa je očigledno učinila svoje.

I usput, moram ti reći da sam duboko razočaran u tvoj muzički ukus :rofl:

:D Ma to su Leningrad Cowboysi obradili u heavy-metal štihu, zato znam za tu pjesmu. :paranoid:

I da, pozadina doista izgleda umjetno, baš mi se sviđa. I moram priznati da sam rijetko zadovoljan sa B/W rezultatima koje postiže softver kamere, ali svaki od B/W filtera koji možeš staviti na fotiću doista odradi ono što bi očekivao i od mehaničkog filtera naprijed. Baš sam ostao ugodno iznenađen i odjednom shvatio kako investicija u Cokin sustav baš i nema smisla na takvom fotiću, osim uštede na polarizatorima i nekim egzotičnim filterima. :D

a gledaj, filtere ljudi baš i ne kupuju u te svrhe već nekih desetak godina. Ljudi investiraju u Cokin sisteme kako bi imali polarizacioni filter, haze filter, UV filter, IR filter, 1 i 2 step gradacijske filtere, homogene tamne filtere za produžavanje ekspozicije u presvijetlim uvjetima, sunset filter, morning filter i da sad dalje ne nabrajam, mogao bih ovako do sutra. :)
