Here's another one of the E-300 series for the case modding theme ~rookie was working on... :)

The model is our lovely friend Nova who was willing to be a part of a silly photo shoot for the opening image for the article. ~rookie tied her up with case modding equipment (neon strings and glowing tape)... and while we were shooting and making fun of her sitting all tied up, she flashed us with her middle fingers. :lmao: It didn't last for long, but long enough for me to take this shot. :giggle: The hands are a bit out of focus because I used the macro lens and a small DoF to put emphasis on the modding equipment, but the point is clear enough.

I like the cryptic meaning in this - although this is pretty much observatory photography again, I feel you can find a somewhat conceptual side to it. I can even draw a connection with my on life - some of my friends sometimes feel trapped in my system of things, with my extensive use of computers and this biking bug that are not a part of their lives. So when I sometimes start talking and nagging about things they don't really find that interesting, they become tied up in other people's business and want out. We all have days like that, I suppose, and I feel Nova depicted it pretty well, although she didn't intend to... :giggle: She was just a biker friend who wandered into our office and got tangled up in things she's not normally a part of. :lmao:

Shot with Olympus E-300 with a 55mm macro lens (1:2).

Buying a Nikon doesn't make you a photographer.
It makes you a Nikon owner. [link]

I like the concept of this photo, I understand how she feels :) I'm glad somebody thought of illustrating it in such an original way. Also the use of cold colours contributes to the enhancement of this feeling of not belonging to that place. And the quality of the photo is very good (except for the hands, which you've already mentioned)
